Frequently Asked Questions

We formulate our products with organic butters and natural oils. These products are naturally soft at room temperature, semi hard in cooler temperatures. We run the risk of butters melting in transit during the summer months. OMJ takes special precautions during the summer months by using ice packs for shipping. Even with these special precautions, we have no control over temperatures during transit/delivery . Therefore , we cannot be responsible for melted products. We cannot accept refunds for melted products. We suggest following your package closely via tracking number to avoid packages being left in direct sunlight. 

If you receive your body butter and it appears melted, there will be less volume in the container. The whipped consistency will no longer be and the butter will lose its fluffiness. Place your butter in the freezer for 30 minutes to allow it to solidify again. The quality of our products are not affected by melting, so you may use the butter like a balm at this consistency. If you would like your butter back to its whipped consistency, you may use an electric hand mixer to whip it back up and add more volume. 

It is best to keep all products in a cool , dry place away from direct sunlight.

OMJ Skincare caters to all skin types. We have many customers with sensitive skin and/ or eczema that enjoy our products without problem. With all products, we suggest customers to try a small amount of product on a small area of your skin before applying all over. If you develop a reaction, stop use of product.

All products are handmade to order. OMJ does it's best to ship out orders as soon as possible. Please allow 5-7 days for processing of orders before contacting us. If you need your order rushed, we will do our best to accommodate you. Contact us for special requests before placing the order.
